Driebergen, The Netherlands. VII Medical Anthropology at home meeting
Driebergen means, in Dutch language, three hills. It is difficult to see the hills in the surroundings of the resort where last Medical Anthropology at Home meeting was done. MAAH is a singular group. It is more a group of peers than a formal scientific society. The first meeting, was in Zeist, near Driebergen and it was organized by the late Els van Dongen and Sjaak van der Geest. The second was in Tarragona, after came Perugia, Hanko, Sonderborg, Royaumont, and now coming back to the Netherlands. Next time, we will meet together in Bologna, the city where the university was invented.
Warm, quiet discussions between friends. Young scholars coming from all over Europe, the States and Canada, Asia, Africa. All together in some place far from the crowd.
I like to record this events. I am not a reporter, I do not work in any newspaper. The images were recorded with a low price Samsung cell phone. It does not matter. It is a souvenir, some images I took. The tecnhical quality is not good. It is for our visual memory, perhaps to remember some feelings together.
